"The First Spey Fishing Guide and Instructor in Western Massachusetts"

Guided and Instructional Fly & Spey fishing the Deerfield River and Westfield River for Brook, Rainbow, Brown, Tiger Trout and Striped Bass all season. Take in the breath taking scenery of historic Western Massachusetts while wading or float fishing with a professional guide Walt Geryk. While float Fishing, Walt guides from either a 16' Drift Boat or his 13' HySide Raft, both customized by walt with the fly fisherman in mind. With easy exit from Rte. 91, you can be passing through the old historic villages of Western Mass., which include Williamsburg, Chesterfield, Old Deerfield and Shelburne Falls before arriving at possibly the best fly and spey fishing waters in the state. Not only will you fish popular catch and release areas, but the many miles of open unrestricted waters too. Fishing the Deerfield River in Massachusetts can be one or the best float fishing experiences offered in New England.

Some of the rivers that I have grown up with and fish, on a near daily basis, are The Lower, Middle and Upper Deerfield River, along with the Westfield River and Swift River. Other tributaries flowing into the Quabbin Reservoir as well as the Connecticut River are also outstanding waters to be guided on. I.90 (Mass Pike) to Rte. 495 will take you to the beautiful shore lines of Cape Cod. Fly fishing Cape Cod from the bayside of Sandwich to the tip of Province Town and on to the Atlantic's southern through Chatham and back to The Canal. I will assist you in choosing what areas should be the most productive to coincide with your trip.
