One way of fly fishing from a drift boat trip is to taxi to a spot, beach or anchor down the boat, then hop out and wade, but there are times when this is not possible due to flows or locations. Many pools and runs are better targeted from the safety of a stable fishing station located in the fore and aft of my Hog Island Drift Boat. Floating from a specifically designed drift boat, for your style of fishing, allows access to areas safely that otherwise may be un-reachable due to conditions or terrain. For your comfort, take a break, kick back and relax on the soft thickly padded seats while sipping a soft drink and munching a snack. Then there is a much needed lunch break with freshly made deli roll ups that helps set the tone for the second half of the day. During the day, be sure to take the time to enjoy the majestic scenery and wildlife offered on these beautiful rivers. |
